Credit Risk Analyst - Energy and Commodities. A leading energy trading organisation is seeking a skilled and analytical Credit Risk Analyst to join its Credit Risk team. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments, external clients, third-party intermediaries, credit rating agencies, and insurers to manage credit exposure across energy supply contracts and related services. Hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 from home (non-negotiable).Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth credit assessments.Negotiate legal and collateral agreements (ISDA, EFET, CSA, PCG).Support commercial risk mitigation strategies.Qualifications
Recent experience in a credit risk role, preferably within the energy sector.Strong financial analysis skills and knowledge of credit frameworks.Proficiency in financial modelling tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Power Automate.Solid understanding of traded energy markets (Gas, Power, Carbon) is highly desirable; previous market risk exposure is a plus.Strong communication skills and the ability to lead projects and influence stakeholders.Additional context
