Credit Manager / Bridging UnderwriterLondonUp to £70,000paWe are working with a fast-growing specialist bridging and development lender, who are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to join the team.Responsibilities:The role is based in the office, and your day to day will consist of the following:Liaising with colleagues, borrowers and brokers to gather transaction related informationMaking or recommending a decision to support or decline a dealUndertaking pre and post disbursement monitoring and due diligencePreparing and presenting credit papers for Credit Committee approvalPost sanction preparing Heads of Terms and accompanying documentsReviewing valuation and project monitors'' reports and challenging these where necessaryProactively ensuring that all facility conditions precedent to first drawdown have been met and the case has moved efficiently to completion, liaising with solicitors and surveyors if neededManaging expectations and deadlines whilst providing an excellent service to encourage repeat businessAt all times adhering to internal and external credit policies and regulatory requirementsEnsuring all relevant data for each loan is accurately and comprehensively entered into the CRM system, both before and upon drawdownSkills and experience: 1Previous bridging and development underwriting or lending experience gained in an intermediary focussed environment, preferably at a specialist lender or a challenger bankFamiliarity with reviewing valuation reports, ..... full job details .....
