Orka Financial is seeking an experienced Credit Controller / Sales Ledger professional to join their clients finance team based in Henley-on-Thames . This role would suit someone who enjoys taking full responsibility for the credit control and sales ledger function, while also supporting the wider finance team with accounts assistant duties. The successful candidate will be confident managing customer accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and building strong working relationships to ensure timely payments and efficient financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Control and Sales LedgerManage and maintain the sales ledger accuratelyChase outstanding debts via phone, email, and written correspondenceBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure timely paymentsAllocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accountsInvestigate and resolve invoice queries and discrepanciesProduce aged debtor reports and support cash flow managementMonitor customer credit limits and assess credit riskPrepare statements and reminder noticesAccounts Assistant DutiesSupport purchase ledger and invoice processingAssist with bank reconciliationsProcess journals and maintain accurate financial recordsSupport month-end procedures and reportingProvide ad hoc support to the finance team when requiredSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a Credit Controller or Sales Ledger role is essentialStrong understanding of credit control processes and debtor ..... full job details .....
