Credit Controller

Job Title: Credit Controller Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week - 8.30am-5pm with 60 mins unpaid break - in office every daySalary: £27k + £250/month bonusLocation: West BromwichThis position is accountable to the Management Accountant and reports on a daily basis to the Credit Control Manager of a small but lovely team.The post holder will be working within a busy credit control department and will have responsibility for a section of our Accounts Receivable Ledger. They will need to ensure that their accounts are operated in accordance with the Credit Policy, to maximise cash flow and reduce the risk of bad.Duties to Include: Monitor accounts to ensure that credit terms and credit limits are not exceeded and highlight any accounts where credit limits may need modification and discuss with the Credit Control ManagerEnsure statements are sent out to customersCreate spreadsheets as and when required or requested by customersComplete dunning letter cycle for customers with outstanding debt, from initial chase for settlement of account to passing accounts over to solicitors for collectionContact customers via telephone/email regarding collection of their debtDeal with any queries raised by customers and liaise with Depots to resolve same, on a day-to-day basisSend payment links to customers to pay by card/bankDeal with New Account Applications and interpret information provided by Credit Reference Agencies in order to set correct credit limits Ad-hoc Duties (Assisting ..... full job details .....
