The post holder will be working within a busy credit control department and will have responsibility for a section of our Accounts Receivable Ledger. They will need to ensure that their accounts are operated in accordance with the Credit Policy, to maximise cash flow and reduce the risk of bad. Duties to Include: Monitor accounts to ensure that credit terms and credit limits are not exceeded and highlight any accounts where credit limits may need modification and discuss with the Credit Control Manager Ensure statements are sent out to customers Create spreadsheets as and when required or requested by customers Complete dunning letter cycle for customers with outstanding debt, from initial chase for settlement of account to passing accounts over to solicitors for collection Contact customers via telephone/email regarding collec...
