Vibe Recruit is currently supporting a well-established and successful business with the appointment of an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy finance team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller or Sales Ledger professional to join a close-knit team where customer relationships, accuracy and getting results are key. The RoleWorking as part of a small finance team, you will take ownership of the debtor ledger and play a key role in ensuring outstanding payments are managed effectively and customer accounts remain up to date. We''re looking for someone who is confident, organised and commercially minded, with the communication skills to build positive relationships with customers while being comfortable having those sometimes challenging conversations around overdue payments.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively manage the collection of outstanding debtsChase overdue accounts via telephone, email and letterMaintain and reconcile the debtor ledgerMonitor debtor days and work towards agreed targetsTake and allocate customer paymentsIssue statements and copy documentation to customersInvestigate and resolve debt and payment queriesComplete credit insurance reportsProcess credit account applications and carry out credit checksAgree appropriate customer credit termsPrepare weekly debt reports for senior managementSupport the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties when requiredAssist with purchase ledger and general finance duties during busy ..... full job details .....
