Credit Controller - Temporary to Permanent

Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: -33,00035,000 per annum equivalent, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm
Start date: 2nd November 2026

TeamJobs are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a fashion brand based in Poole.

This opportunity will initially be on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.

What you''ll be doing:

• Managing outstanding balances and chasing payments by telephone and email.
• Building positive customer relationships while ensuring timely payment.
• Resolving invoice queries and investigating payment discrepancies.
• Allocating payments and keeping customer account records accurate.
• Monitoring aged debt and supporting the finance team with reporting.
• Working closely with colleagues to resolve queries and reduce overdue debt.

What we''re looking for:

• Previous experience in credit control.
• Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• A proactive approach to resolving queries and collecting outstanding payments.
• Confidence using Excel and finance systems.
• Availability to start from 2nd November.
