SF Partners are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join an established business based in Nottingham City Centre. This is a varied role offering much more than simply chasing debt - you''ll have responsibility for your own ledger, work closely with customers and internal teams, and get involved in wider finance. What you''ll be doing: Managing a busy Sales Ledger Building relationships with customers and proactively chasing outstanding paymentsResolving invoice queries and disputesIssuing statements and payment remindersDaily cashbook posting and reconciliation across three bank accountsSupporting month-end Sales Ledger close and reportingCalculating bad debt provisionsRaising invoices and credit notesProcessing online card paymentsTracking customer deposits and ensuring VAT complianceWorking closely with other departments to resolve customer queries and returnsProviding occasional support across the wider finance teamRepresenting Finance in internal meetings What we''re looking for: You''ll ideally have previous experience within Credit Control/Sales Ledger and be comfortable managing a busy ledger independently.
