With a strong presence across the UK and Ireland, the organisation is built on a collaborative network of regional offices, delivering trusted support to SMEs.This role plays a key part in managing customer accounts, driving timely collections, and reducing exposure to bad debt while maintaining strong client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Control ManagementMonitor outstanding balances and ensure timely collection of overdue paymentsMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer account recordsDebt CollectionChase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondenceNegotiate payment plans where requiredEscalate accounts where necessary, working alongside legal representativesEnsure all activity aligns with agreed payment terms and internal policiesAccount Reconciliation and ReceiptingAllocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accountsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies or queries efficientlyReportingSupport the production of weekly and monthly reports on aged debt, cash flow, and riskProvide insight into customer payment trends and credit exposureCollaborationWork closely with internal stakeholders to resolve account queriesLiaise with finance teams to ensure accurate billing and invoicing processesComplianceAdhere to internal credit control ..... full job details .....
