They are looking for an individual who can make an immediate impact, handle a demanding workload, and bring prior experience with high-volume transactions. This role is office-based and offers a dynamic work environment where you will have full ownership of the sales ledger and support financial control processes.Day-to-Day of the Role:Sales Ledger (Primary Responsibility)Full ownership of the sales ledger.Monitor customer accounts and maintain accurate records.Chase outstanding debt and manage credit control processes.Resolve customer invoice queries professionally and efficiently.Allocate customer payments and reconcile accounts.Purchase Ledger (Support)Process supplier invoices and ensure correct authorisation.Prepare supplier payment runs.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.Maintain accurate purchase ledger records.Financial Controller SupportAssist with month-end close activities.Support bank reconciliations.Provide ad-hoc finance support and analysis as required.Support audits and financial reporting when needed.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role.Strong ability to manage high-volume transactions.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Proficient in using financial software, specifically Sage ..... full job details .....
