You must be able to demonstrate a solid background in a similar role.Our ledger consists of approximately 1500 live accounts, ranging from individual customers to multi point National Accounts, spread across 7 depots. This role will be based at our Accounts office in Wallingford, Oxon. We use a bespoke IT system.This is a part time, office-based role for 25 hours per week. We can be flexible on working patterns but would ideally like this to be over five days a week.There is free parking on site, a spacious open plan first floor office with good facilities and close to shops and town.Key Responsibilities: Chasing overdue accounts by phone, letter and email for designated depots Opening new customer accounts Run credit check reports on individuals, and companies Generate query list for depots Take credit card payments Provide holiday cover in the absence of colleagues in the finance team Sending copy invoices as required Liaise with depots to resolve or escalate customer queries Provide support at month endEssential skills and knowledge: Previous experience working in a Credit Control role...
