Credit Controller (Hybrid)Location: Chelmsford, UKWorking Pattern: HybridEmployment Type: Full-Time, PermanentOverviewOur client, a leading international insurance organisation, is seeking a Credit Controller to join its Finance Operations team.This role acts as a key link between offshore processing teams and internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters, underwriting support teams, brokers, and clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding premium collections, resolving complex credit control issues, improving operational processes, and supporting service excellence across insurance administration and credit control activities.This opportunity would suit a finance or credit control professional who enjoys stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and working within a fast-paced insurance environment.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of assigned accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding premiums and accurate cash allocation within core systemsMonitor aged debt positions and proactively escalate issues internally or externally to ensure prompt resolutionReview and reconcile broker statements, identifying and raising discrepancies through appropriate internal processesResolve complex queries that cannot be completed by offshore processing teamsBuild and maintain effective working relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholdersIdentify brokers generating high query volumes and work collaboratively to ..... full job details .....
