Credit Controller

A very well-established Construction consultancy is looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join its UK finance team based in Bristol. This role has been created to support continued business growth and offers the chance to join a collaborative, experienced team within a well-structured finance function.Reporting to the UK Credit Control and Sales Ledger Manager, you''ll play a key role in managing customer accounts, improving cashflow, and building strong internal and external relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an engaging and confident accounts professional looking to further develop their credit control experience within a larger, multi-site environment.What will you be doing?Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and ensuring payments are received in line with agreed termsInvestigating and resolving invoice and account queries with internal and external stakeholdersAnalysing payment history and reconciling customer accountsNegotiating payment plans where appropriatePreparing and issuing client statements and reminder correspondenceAdhering to internal credit control policies and procedures to maximise cash flowProducing regular and ad hoc reports, including escalating risks or issues where necessarySupporting wider team projects and contributing to continuous improvementLiaising with colleagues across the business via phone, Teams, and in-person meetingsWhat''s on OfferThe opportunity to develop your skills within a large, international ..... full job details .....
