It is a private equity owned Group of companies, which has experienced rapid growth through acquisitions. It is an exciting time to join the business, as they are about to implement a new ERP, Sage Intact. DescriptionYou will be reporting into the Credit Control Manager and will be responsible for the credit control of 2 companies within the Group. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:Ensuring debts are paid on time and in fullChasing overdue debts to minimise the risk of write-offMaintain relationships with key contactsPost cash receipts to the ledger and reconcile the balancesSend customer statements out monthly, and when requested to ad-hocPerform credit checks where necessary and ensure that customers are keeping within their insured limitBuild internal relationships with sales managersRaise payment applications to contractors, and ensure the debts are paid within the agreed termsEnsure retention balances are reconciled and posted correctly to the ledger.Chase retention payments from contractors once Final Accounts have been received, as well as 12-18 months later depending on contracted termsProfileTo ..... full job details .....
