We''re recruiting an experienced Credit Controller to join a well-established finance team in South Leeds on a temporary basis, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. Salary: 30,000Hybrid: 2 days in the office after initial trainingContract: Temporary with a view to permanentThe roleYou''ll take ownership of a portfolio of large corporate customer accounts, focusing on reducing overdue debt, resolving queries and ensuring payments are received in line with agreed terms.Working closely with customers, Client Managers and Finance Business Partners, you''ll build strong relationships and play an active role in improving cash collection and credit control processes.Key responsibilitiesManage and recover debt across a portfolio of corporate accountsChase overdue payments by phone and emailBuild strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholdersLead debt review meetings and follow up agreed actionsResolve account and payment queries promptlyAllocate cash receipts and maintain accurate account recordsTrack expected payments to support cash flow forecastingAssist with weekly debt reportingSupport Direct Debits, reconciliations and wider sales ledger dutiesGet involved in system improvements, automation and finance transformation projectsWhat we''re looking forAt least 2 years'' Credit Control experienceExperience managing large corporate ledgers within a sizeable organisationConfident stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsStrong communication, ..... full job details .....
