We are recruiting on behalf of an established and successful business in the Stafford area for a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong account management and debt collection experience who enjoys building customer relationships and delivering positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesChasing outstanding debt via telephone and emailBuilding strong relationships with customers and resolving payment queriesReconciling customer accounts and allocating cash receiptsInvestigating invoice disputes and payment discrepanciesWorking closely with internal departments to resolve billing issuesMaintaining accurate collection records and payment commitmentsSupporting the finance team with general accounts receivable dutiesAbout YouPrevious Credit Control or Accounts Receivable experienceProven track record of reducing aged debtStrong communication and negotiation skillsExperience reconciling customer accountsHighly organised with excellent attention to detailCompetent user of Microsoft ExcelPackageSalary: Approximately 27,000 pro rata6-month fixed-term contractMonday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pmFriday: 7:30am - 3:30pmFully office-based role in StaffordIf you''re available at short notice or looking for your next challenge in Credit Control, we''d love to hear from you.
