We are seeking a proactive and driven professional to join our clients finance team in Leeds.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure debts are paid within agreed termsAchieve company cash and debtor day targetsProactively chase overdue invoices via phone and emailMaintain accurate records of all credit control activityLiaise with senior personnel to manage outstanding debtsIdentify payment pattern changes and recommend actionsHandle disputed invoices and support negotiation for resolutionProvide clear and accurate advice on all client queriesIdentify and address delays in client billing and payment cyclesOperate and manage invoicing through client portalsRespond promptly to internal and external enquiriesPerform account reconciliations as neededSupport corporate governance, policies, and proceduresAssist with cash postings, reconciliations, and credit notesEssential Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience within a busy, professional credit control environmentStrong understanding of credit control, sales ledger processes, and relevant policiesExperience using credit control management systemsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordConfident handling client accounts at all levels, including senior stakeholdersProven ability to manage and prioritise a high-volume workloadConsistently delivers ..... full job details .....
