Credit Controller

South Derbyshire - Office Based - Credit Controller - Temporary-

Eaton Syalon are working with our client in South Derbyshire to recruit a temporary Credit Controller into their Finance team.-The role will be a standalone position with full ownership of the ledger. The ideal candidate will be available-immediately or at short notice to start this temporary position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit checking customer accounts-
• Analyse debtor data for trends, risks, and opportunities-
• Manage and maintain credit insurance cover-
• Analyse aged debt reports
• Develop strong relationships with key customers to support prompt payment-
• Drive cash collection via phone and email
• Manage and support month end close processes-
• Produce and monitor key credit control KPIs
• Provide accurate and timely data to support cashflow forecasting, bad debt provisioning and financial reporting
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on debtors
• Maintain and enhance credit control procedures-
• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk
• Maintain the sales ledger, including account set up, monitoring, cash collection, and query resolution
• Manage and support month end close processes-

The must haves:
Previous credit control/sales ledger experience
Happy working in a standalone credit control role
Strong Excel skills - pivot tables and V look ups as a minimum standard
Capable of managing the credit control process from start to finish
