We are looking for a proactive and ambitious candidate to join our credit control department. The key focus will be cash collection and debt reduction, working with the wider Finance team and stakeholders across the business.Responsibilities
Contact customers to ensure timely payment of invoices to meet monthly targetsResolve credit control and collections issues efficiently and professionallyManage a high volume of emails/calls, both incoming and outgoing, in a timely mannerLog queries accurately on our in-house system and follow through to resolutionReconcile accountsBuild relationships internally and with customersAd hoc duties when required (Accounts inbox)Ensure the collection process is followed and maintained in a timely mannerCoordinate and process monthly direct debit payments, adhering to established proceduresPerson, Skills and Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, SharePoint and TeamsMaths and English GCSEs minimum grade CMinimum 2 years of experience in a credit control roleAbility to work individually and as part of a teamHardworking, persistent, and dependable with a positive, can-do attitudeMotivation to perform well in a busy, fast-paced environmentTeam player who knows when to ask for help and is happy to support colleaguesWhy BCN?
