Credit Controller Manchester (Hybrid) 28,000 - 30,000 + Excellent Benefits Ascent Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a market leader in Manchester to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. The Role Managing your own portfolio of client accounts, ensuring outstanding debt is collected in a timely and professional manner. Working towards and achieving monthly cash collection targets through proactive credit control activities. Building strong relationships with clients to deliver an excellent level of customer service while maintaining effective credit control. Investigating and resolving invoice and billing queries by liaising with internal departments to ensure prompt resolution. Reconciling customer accounts, identifying outstanding balances and resolving any discrepancies using Excel. Producing and issuing monthly customer statements. Monitoring daily cash receipts and ensuring account information is accurate and up to date. Processing credit notes following the appropriate approval process. Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc credit control and accounts receivable activities as required. About You To be considered, you''ll ideally have: Previous Credit Control experience within a medium or large organisation. A proven track record of achieving collection targets and reducing outstanding debt. Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels.
