Credit Control Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Credit Control Supervisor to join a well-regarded Higher Education organisation based in London. This role is vital in providing high-quality operational and supervisory support to the Credit Control function, ensuring effective debt recovery, accurate account management, and excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the credit control process to ensure timely collection of outstanding debtSupervise and support credit control staff, monitoring workloads and performanceProactively chase overdue balances via phone, email, and written correspondenceReview aged debt reports and implement appropriate recovery actionsInvestigate and resolve complex payment queries and disputes in a timely mannerEnsure accurate allocation of payments and reconciliations of customer accountsMaintain accurate financial records in accordance with internal procedures and audit requirementsSupport escalated cases, including recommending further recovery action where necessaryManage shared finance inboxes, ensuring queries are responded to promptly and professionallySupport month-end reporting, controls, and reconciliation processesContribute to continuous improvement activities within the Credit Control teamIdeal Candidate Profile:Proven experience in a credit control role, with experience supervising or supporting othersStrong knowledge of debt recovery processes and financial controlsConfident communication ..... full job details .....
