Credit Control Manager

Credit Control Manager Poole £50,000 Permanent Office Based Talent Finance are partnering with an established and successful business in Poole to recruit an experienced Credit Control Manager to take ownership of its credit control function and lead a small team. This is a key role within the finance function, with responsibility for managing the debtor book, driving cash collection, reducing overdue debt and ensuring the business maintains strong and effective credit controls. Reporting into the Finance Director, you''ll have plenty of visibility across the wider business and will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Sales and Customer Service. We''re looking for someone who can combine strong hands on credit management experience with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a team. The role You''ll take ownership of the day to day credit control function, with responsibilities including: • Leading, supporting and developing the Credit Control team • Taking ownership of the debtor book and overall collections performance • Driving cash collection and reducing DSO and overdue debt • Monitoring aged debt and identifying higher risk accounts • Managing escalated, complex and long outstanding balances • Assessing customer creditworthiness and reviewing appropriate credit limits • Negotiating payment arrangements and resolving customer disputes • Minimising bad debt exposure and escalating potential risks appropriately • Working closely with Sales and Customer ..... full job details .....
