Credit Controller Long Eaton £26,000-£28,000 Permanent Full Time Office-Based Macildowie are working with this client based in Long Eaton to recruit an experienced Credit Controller into a busy finance team within a well-established organisation operating in the materials handling and equipment sector. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded Credit Controller who enjoys taking ownership of customer accounts, resolving disputes and building strong relationships while ensuring outstanding debt is collected effectively. The environment is particularly well suited to someone who has worked within equipment hire, vehicle rental, construction, logistics, engineering or another asset-based business where credit control involves more than simply chasing overdue invoices. The Role Reporting into the Credit Control Manager, you''ll take responsibility for managing B2B customer accounts and ensuring outstanding balances are collected in line with agreed payment terms. Your responsibilities will include: Proactively chasing outstanding B2B debt by telephone and email. Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts. Investigating and resolving invoice and payment disputes. Handling queries relating to hire agreements, damage charges, breakdowns and other contractual costs. Building effective relationships with customers while maintaining a firm approach to debt collection.
