Credit Control Team Leader London 12 month fixed term contract Insurance and Lloyds market We are working with a leading global insurance organisation that is looking to appoint a Credit Control Team Leader on a 12 month fixed term contract This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance Credit Controller or existing Team Leader to take responsibility for the day to day management of a London Market credit control function. The role combines hands on premium credit control with team leadership, stakeholder management and process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage the day to day activities and workload of the Credit Control team. Support, coach and develop team members, ensuring agreed service levels and targets are achieved. Manage and reduce aged premium debt across the portfolio. Act as an escalation point for complex credit control and premium queries. Liaise directly with brokers, underwriters, coverholders and other internal and external stakeholders. Ensure premium and cash transactions are accurately allocated and reconciled. Investigate and resolve outstanding balances, unallocated cash and premium discrepancies. Monitor team performance and produce regular management information and reporting. Maintain appropriate credit control procedures, controls and documentation. Work closely with Finance, Underwriting, Operations and other business areas to resolve premium collection issues.
