Credit ControllerLocation: Birmingham Salary:Part-time: 18,000Full-time: 26,500Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and organised Credit Controller to join our finance team in Birmingham. This role will focus on managing and reducing 0-90 day aged debt, ensuring timely collections while maintaining strong customer relationships.This position is available on both a part-time and full-time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of customer accounts, with a focus on 0-90 day aged debtProactively contact customers via phone and email to ensure prompt payment of outstanding invoicesBuild and maintain positive relationships with customers to support effective collectionsMonitor customer accounts to ensure payment terms are adhered toInvestigate and resolve invoice queries to prevent payment delaysAllocate incoming payments and maintain accurate account recordsProduce and review aged debt reports, highlighting risks and overdue balancesWork closely with internal teams (e.g. sales and operations) to resolve issues impacting paymentSupport month-end processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accuratelySkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in credit control or accounts receivableStrong focus on early-stage collections (0-90 day debt)Excellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational abilityConfident using finance systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to prioritise workload and meet ..... full job details .....
