Credit Analyst

Credit Analyst Chesterfield, Derbyshire Elevation Accountancy and Finance are thrilled to have partnered with a business based in Chesterfield in their search for a Credit Analyst to join their well established team on a permanent, full-time basis. Key Responsibilities Proactively manage and control a portfolio of 700-800 customer accounts Perform daily credit control tasks including chasing overdue balances, resolving account issues, and managing payment commitments Conduct regular account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained Collaborate with internal departments including Sales, Cash Allocation, and Finance to facilitate timely order releases, dispute resolutions, and audit support Use Excel to generate reports, track performance, and analyse customer behaviour Participate in monthly aged debt review meetings with stakeholders to improve collections and reduce overdue exposure Support process improvement initiatives aimed at automating workflows and enhancing collaboration across the business Skills and Experience Required: Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities Confident communicator who can build rapport with both customers and colleagues Comfortable working with high-volume data Attributes and Attitude: Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving Eager to learn and develop within the role Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment Open to change and ..... full job details .....
