Credit Analyst

We are recruiting an entry-level Credit Analyst to join the finance team of a successful international consumer-products business. This is an administration-heavy Credit Analyst position offering full training and genuine scope to develop within credit control, accounts receivable and wider finance. Previous credit experience is not essential. The business is more interested in finding someone organised, accurate and keen to build a long-term career. The previous person appointed to this Credit Analyst role was offered an apprenticeship and has since progressed within the team, demonstrating the development opportunities available. THE ROLE As a Credit Analyst, you will support the wider credit team with customer-account administration, credit checks, reporting and the resolution of account queries. Your responsibilities will include: Setting up new customer accounts and ensuring all information and supporting documentation is complete Maintaining accurate customer records within the finance system Carrying out initial credit checks and gathering information to support credit-limit decisions Processing changes to customer details, payment terms and credit information Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to customer and internal queries Preparing and issuing customer statements, copy invoices and credit notes Supporting cash allocation and investigating unidentified or incorrectly allocated payments Assisting with customer-account reconciliations Reviewing aged-debt and ..... full job details .....
