Creatives wanted for day-to-day Teaching Assistant work – Hackney

Part-time/Full-time | Supply/Long-term | Immediate Start

Various mainstream and SEN schools based in the borough of Hackney are seeking creative candidates for flexible and ad-hoc SEN Teaching Assistant work! You can join their team on a full-time, long-term basis or for daily supply. Experience working with children is preferred.

Role Overview:

• Support throughout the year groups with their learning
• Provide 1:1 and small group support
• Implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
• Flexibility available if needed with supply work

Requirements:

• Patient, calm, and proactive approach
• Passion for supporting children with SEN
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• SEN/ASD experience desirable but not essential
