Overview

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) is seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented Creative Services Director for a 12-month maternity cover. You will lead the UK Creative Services team, delivering a high volume of projects to support our writers and catalogues through multi-channel marketing campaigns, IP development, and partnerships. You will collaborate across departments within Warner Chappell Music, the wider Warner Music Group, and beyond.Your Role

As the Creative Services Director, you’ll work with WCM’s catalogue to revitalise songs and maximise new releases. You’ll collaborate with creative, commercial, and strategic partners to add value, boost engagement, and build lasting legacies for our music. You’ll be responsible for creating a wide range of assets (covers and remixes for sync, short-form videos, podcasts, film/TV projects, immersive experiences, theatrical productions, orchestral arrangements, and print). You’ll celebrate anniversaries, launch new releases, and tap into cultural trends to connect music with audiences in fresh ways.Lead UK Catalogue strategy: oversee a high volume of writer catalogues, collaborating with Business Affairs, Finance and AandR to prioritise catalogues and titles at risk or up for renewal.Stakeholder Collaboration: work directly with managers, estates, songwriters and internal teams across departments including finance, administration, legal, digital, strategy, AandR and Sync.UK Creative Services Leadership: represent the CS Department in high-level meetings and roll out the UK CS strategy for opportunity development and project execution; support internal and cross-team presentations.Repertoire Project Management: independently manage marketing and IP projects across frontline and catalogue repertoire, including strategy, KPIs, activation ideation and execution.Prioritisation and multi-tasking: communicate releases and catalogue milestones to the CS team and company; anticipate risks and provide creative solutions.Relationship Management: manage opportunities to fulfil requests in a timely manner; keep partners updated.Vendor and Contract Management: maintain terms with vendors, onboardings, rate agreements, and campaign performance aligned with contracts.Repertoire Growth: identify growth opportunities for further development.Here You’ll Get To

Lead UK Catalogue strategy and cross-functional collaboration to prioritise titles and opportunities.Engage with managers, estates, songwriters and internal teams to align on priorities and needs.Represent the CS Department in senior meetings and develop/communicate the CS strategy for the UK.Drive end-to-end marketing and IP projects with clear KPIs and activation plans.Develop and deliver creative assets for various formats and platforms, aligned with strategic goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with key catalogues and partners across the UK and globally.About You

Significant experience in entertainment projects and marketing management.Proactive, self-motivated with strong leadership and strategic capabilities.Ability to analyse data, identify gaps, design workflows and operate at both big-picture and detail levels.Working knowledge of music rights and the music business structure.Creatively driven with a sharp commercial focus on maximising catalogue revenue.Ability to identify opportunities, set KPIs, engage partners and deliver content activations on time with clear objectives.Exceptionally well-organised with a track record of keeping projects moving smoothly.Collaborative, with excellent people skills and the ability to inspire writers and catalogue owners.Resilient under pressure with a can-do approach to problem-solving.Experience managing a team member is desirable.We’d Love It If You Also Had

Experience in Account Management, Business Development, Advertising/TV/Film Production, Live music/events management.General music industry experience and content development across multiple mediums.Marketing/Tech/Social Media experience.About Us
