This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer looking for a varied and hands-on position working across a wide range of industrial customer sites. You will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment, combining strong electrical fault-finding capabilities with mechanical knowledge to ensure equipment remains safe, reliable and compliant. The Role As Crane Service Engineer, you will work across a broad range of lifting equipment including overhead cranes, job cranes, runway systems, hoists, light cranes and mobile gantries. A key part of the position will involve diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults, often working independently and without detailed electrical drawings. You''ll work with equipment including motors, inverters, drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and control panels. Key responsibilities will include: Inspecting, servicing, maintaining and repairing overhead cranes and lifting equipment. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
