Crane Service Engineer

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:We are looking for Crane Service Engineer (Electrically Bias) for a permanent position based with our client on Teesside.Immediate start available (subject to interview process)Salary is 40,000 to 48,000 per annum (depending on experience)Key Responsibilities of Role Inspect, service, maintain and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a wide range of industries including but not limited to overhead cranes, jib cranes, runway systems, hoists, light cranes and mobile gantries.Diagnose and repair electrical faults, often without the aid of detailed electrical drawings.Carry out fault finding and repairs on various equipment, such as:Motors, inverters and drivesGearboxes, hydraulics and pneumaticsControl panels and associated electrical systemsPerform basic welding and fabrication tasks where required (desirable).Operate and work safely with overhead cranes and lifting equipment, including slinging and lifting operations.Troubleshoot complex engineering challenges, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.Work safely at height and in confined or challenging environments.Maintain accurate service records and provide clear reports to customers.Deliver excellent customer service by being professional, approachable and safety focussed.Day to Day Tasks Travelling to customer sites in your company vehicle.Conducting planned maintenance or responding to breakdowns.Diagnosing faults on electrical systems, ..... full job details .....
