Key Responsibilities: Safely operate gantry cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment. Carry out pre-use inspections and report any defects or safety concerns. Follow lifting plans, site procedures and health & safety requirements. Work closely with banksmen, slingers and site management to ensure safe lifting operations. Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is operated within safe working limits. Requirements: Valid and relevant-CPCS/NPORS Gantry Crane Operator-certification. Proven experience operating gantry cranes in a construction, infrastructure or industrial environment. Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety. Good communication and ability to work as part of a lifting team. Relevant site safety qualifications such as-CSCS-where applicable.
