Astute''s Renewables team is partnering with a leading lifting and engineering specialist to recruit a Crane Service Engineer for its Teesside branch.The Crane Service Engineer role comes with a salary of 40,000- 48,000, a company van and a Monday to Friday working week. The role will involve servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a range of customer sites.If you''re an experienced electrically biased Crane Engineer with a strong background in fault finding and maintenance, this is an opportunity to join an experienced engineering team with ongoing technical training and structured career development.Responsibilities and duties of the Crane Service Engineer roleInspect, service, maintain and repair overhead cranes and lifting equipment including overhead cranes, jib cranes, runway systems, hoists, light cranes and mobile gantries.Diagnose and repair electrical faults, often without detailed electrical drawings.Carry out fault-finding and repairs on motors, inverters, drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and control panels.Conduct planned maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns at customer sites.Inspect lifting equipment and identify safety or compliance issues.Carry out repairs, adjustments and component replacements to minimise customer downtime.Work safely at height and in confined or challenging environments.Liaise directly with customers to explain completed work and provide advice on safety and ..... full job details .....
