Location: Wetherby Contract: Full-time, TemporarySalary: £25+ per hour, Flexible depending on experience About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a flexible and adaptable Cover Tutor to work within a prison education setting, supporting the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects.This is a general supply role where lesson plans and materials are provided, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging sessions in subjects such as English, Maths, Employability, and more (depending on experience)This role is ideal for a qualified teacher looking for a varied and rewarding position, with the opportunity to support learners in a unique and challenging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects including English, Maths, and EmployabilityMaintain a calm, engaging, and structured learning environmentSupport learners with varying abilities and educational backgroundsEncourage participation, confidence, and progression in learningManage behaviour effectively within a secure settingPromote a positive and inclusive learning cultureWork collaboratively with education and prison staffAbout YouQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (essential)Confident delivering a range of subjects at Functional Skills levelFlexible, resilient, and able to adapt to different classroom environmentsStrong classroom management and communication skillsPassion for supporting individuals with challenging or disrupted ..... full job details .....
