Job Title: Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience

Contract: Full Time

Key Stage: KS3 & KS4

Salary: £120 - £150

TeacherActive are looking for a Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience for a secondary PRU in Wolverhampton. It is imperative the applicants have recent experience of working as a Cover Teacher and have experience working within a PRU setting and teaching learners with SEMH.

The most ideal Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience will confidently step in when a teacher is absent, help pupils to complete pre-prepared exercises. As a Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience you will also be responsible for maintaining a harmonious classroom with limited disruptions and ensuring that pupils are motivated to complete their work.

As a Cover Teacher with Behaviour Experience, you will be required:

• To create a structured environment for pupils to complete learning in line with all subjects across curriculum activities across KS3 and KS4, in the absence of their teacher.
• To deliver high-quality education in the absence of the regular teacher. 
• To maintain order and managing classroom behaviour effectively. 
• To oversea a class of students and ensuring they complete pre-set work. 
• To motivate and engage students using creative methods and resources. 
• To adhere to school policies and perform school duties in accordance with the school''s aims and teaching standards.
