The role As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons using the work provided by the class teacher and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Your responsibilities may include:

Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Supporting students with their learning
Taking registers and following school procedures
Providing feedback to school staff where appropriate
Ensuring students remain engaged and focused throughout the lesson

We would like to hear from you if you have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or relevant classroom/education experience
Experience working with secondary-aged students
Strong classroom management skills
Confidence working across different subjects
A calm, professional and adaptable approach
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

Experienced Cover Supervisors and unqualified teachers are also encouraged to apply, depending on experience.
