About the Role
Supply Desk is seeking adaptable and motivated General Cover Teachers to work with a range of secondary schools in the Heathfield area. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers or confident cover supervisors looking for flexible, rewarding work without the full planning load of a permanent role.
You will deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects, maintain a positive classroom environment, and ensure continuity of learning in the teacherandrsquo;s absence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes across various subjects
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensure students remain engaged and on task
Provide brief feedback to the school at the end of the day
Build positive relationships with staff and students
Adapt quickly to different school environments and routines
About You
QTS/QTLS is desirable, but experienced Cover Supervisors are also encouraged to apply
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Confident delivering lessons across different subjects
Reliable, flexible, and professional
A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
Right to work in the UK
