Cover Teacher - Secondary Schools - Colchester Area
A number of secondary schools across Colchester are looking to recruit motivated, adaptable, and confident Cover Teachers to provide high-quality classroom supervision and support across a range of subjects and year groups. The Role

Candidate Requirements
Schools are seeking individuals who demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills. Successful applicants should be comfortable working with secondary-aged students and capable of building positive relationships quickly within new environments.
Candidates should ideally have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), relevant teaching qualifications, or previous classroom experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong classroom management abilities and confidence leading groups of students.
- A calm, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- A genuine interest in supporting young people''s education and development.
