We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking for flexible work within education.As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of the teacher, ensuring pupils remain on task with the work that has been set while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.The RoleDeliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.Support pupils in completing set work.Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.Follow the school''s safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.The Ideal CandidateReliable, punctual and professional.Ideally has experience working with young people in a school, sports coaching, youth work, mentoring or similar setting.Confident managing classroom behaviour, including challenging behaviour.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.Adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students and ..... full job details .....
