Cover Supervisor - Wigan

Tempest Education are working with a Secondary School in Wigan.The school is the heartbeat of the Wigan community and is OFSTED graded GOOD. The School are looking to appoint the Cover Supervisors as soon as possible.As a Cover Supervisor, you will work closely with secondary pupils to deliver engaging lessons. These Lessons are already planned for you.Your responsibilities will include:Delivering planned work to the classDelivery of a variety of subjectsAssisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for SEN studentsOffering 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD.Helping create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environmentSupporting classroom activities and adapting resources to meet students'' needsEncouraging social, emotional, and academic developmentCollaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventionsRequirements: Experience working with children, especially those within Secondary SchoolsPatience, compassion, and a positive approach to supporting students learningExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA genuine passion for working in education and helping children succeedAn enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)Minimum 6 months experience within a School environmentHow to Apply:If you''re ready to take on this exciting opportunity and become part of a caring, supportive team, please apply with your CV.
