This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, youth workers, sports coaches, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience within local schools. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting schools by supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of well-established secondary schools in Dewsbury, gaining experience in different settings and subject areas. The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
