This role would suit someone who can take charge of a classroom, build a good rapport with students and keep lessons on track when teachers are absent. You will need to be confident managing challenging behaviour, setting clear boundaries and ensuring students stay focused and engaged with their work. The Role Supervising classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher. Managing classroom behaviour confidently and consistently. Ensuring students complete the work set and remain on task. Following the school''s behaviour policy and dealing with issues calmly and professionally. Creating a positive learning environment where students understand expectations. Reporting any concerns or incidents to the appropriate member of staff.
