• Pay: -100 - -120 per day (depending on experience)

Cover Supervisor - Thanet

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of welcoming secondary schools in Thanet. We have flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available, making this an ideal role for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, youth workers, sports coaches and those with transferable skills.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning while their teacher is absent.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-set lessons to secondary school students (Key Stages 3 & 4)
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with their learning where required
• Work across a variety of subjects - no planning or marking required

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with young people, either in education, coaching, youth work or similar settings
• Are confident leading groups and managing behaviour
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Are adaptable, reliable and organised
• Hold a degree or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)
• Have the right to work in the UK
