It can also provide valuable experience for those looking to develop their career within education.About the RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will provide classroom supervision when a teacher is unavailable. You will ensure students follow the work provided and that lessons run smoothly in a safe and positive environment.Your responsibilities will include:Supervising classes across a variety of subjectsDelivering pre-prepared lesson plans and activitiesKeeping students focused and engaged throughout the lessonMaintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectationsProviding appropriate support to students with their learningTaking accurate registersCommunicating any concerns or incidents to the relevant school staffPromoting a calm, respectful and productive classroom environmentThere is no requirement to plan or mark lessons.
