We''re looking for reliable and motivated Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Harrow on a day-to-day basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and individuals with experience in education, youth work, tutoring, coaching or classroom support who are looking to develop their experience within a school environment.

What You''ll Do

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Deliver pre-set lessons and ensure students remain focused on their work
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students with their learning and answer questions where appropriate
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Ensure students complete the work provided by the class teacher
• Monitor attendance and maintain accurate classroom records
• Deal confidently and calmly with low-level behaviour issues
• Build positive and professional relationships with students and staff
• Provide feedback to teaching and pastoral staff where required

What We''re Looking For

• Confident, reliable and approachable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ideally educated to degree level and/or have experience working with young people
• Experience in a school, education, tutoring, youth work, coaching or similar environment is desirable
• Able to manage challenging behaviour calmly and professionally
• Organised, adaptable and able to follow lesson plans
• Comfortable working across different year groups and subjects
• Passionate about supporting young people and maintaining high standards of behaviour
• Available for day-to-day work across Harrow
