Step Into the Classroom in a Supportive Primary School
A friendly and welcoming primary school in Wellingborough is looking for a dependable Cover Supervisor to support across the school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking to gain hands-on experience within a classroom setting.

You will be responsible for overseeing lessons during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain focused, engaged, and working through set activities in a positive learning environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
• Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged throughout lessons
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
• Provide guidance and support to pupils where needed
• Create a positive and well-organised classroom atmosphere
• Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes
• Support the wider school team when required throughout the day

About You

• Experience working with children or within a school setting is desirable
• Confident managing groups of pupils independently
• Positive, approachable, and reliable
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Passionate about supporting children''s learning and development
• Interested in gaining further experience within education
