The successful candidate will have a good general education, with strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, enabling them to effectively supervise lessons and support students in their learning. Experience working with young people, including those with additional needs such as autism, is desirable, along with a willingness to develop further skills in this area.The role involves supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged with pre-set work. You will help maintain a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment, manage behaviour in line with school policies, and provide appropriate support to students with sensory, communication, or anxiety-related needs where required.
