Salary: £108 - £120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in the Newport area who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school is committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential, supported by a dedicated leadership team and strong pastoral support network.

The school is looking to take on a proactive Cover Supervisor on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start available. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, maintaining classroom discipline, ensuring students remain on task and supporting the school''s high standards of learning and behaviour.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• The confidence to lead classes independently

• A flexible and adaptable approach to working across different subject areas

• A positive attitude and commitment to supporting student progress
