Salary: £100 - £120 per day

Are you a reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor looking for flexible opportunities within secondary schools across Newport?

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a range of welcoming mainstream secondary schools throughout Newport. We are looking for confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support schools with both short-term and longer-term cover requirements from September.

The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), maintaining positive classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged in the absence of their usual teacher.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged children or young people
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned work across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach
• A genuine interest in supporting young people within education
