Salary: £108 - £120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) that is committed to providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment. The school promotes high expectations and encourages students to develop their confidence, independence and enthusiasm for learning.

The school is looking to appoint a confident Cover Supervisor on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged in their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A relevant qualification or degree is desirable
• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Experience supervising groups of young people
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A confident, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
